Iâm Jayne. Iâm a psychic and medium, and Iâd like to tell you some stories. First, Iâll tell you a little about me.
I met my spirit guide when I was just five years old. A young girl came to me one night when I was almost asleep. She didnât scare me; she was very pretty and petite, with a sparkling, star-shaped gemstone in the centre of her forehead. I called her Star. Star began to tell me things that other people didnât know or talk about. I remember feeling happy that I had Star, whoâd appear at the bottom of my bed most nights, because I felt different from other children. I felt a connection with people who had major problems in their lives, as if I could feel their pain. Soon, Star was to show me what that meant.
On one occasion, I was sleeping and having what I thought was a vivid dream. In this dream, a lady came to me, and I felt a really intense feeling around her. I knew she was a mother, and she was hurt. She had been killed in a car crash. When I woke up the next morning, the emotions of this woman were still with me: she was so sad, and so loving. As soon as I got to school that day I immediately felt I had to go over to a young girl I didnât know. Star was telling me to speak to her. I sensed something was very wrong.
âIâve seen your mum,â I said. Star gave me a mental picture then, of the woman from my dream.
âMy mumâs with the angels,â the child sobbed, just crying and crying. I gently put my hand on her shoulder.
We all have spirit guides, beings in the spiritual realm who protect and guide us throughout our lives. Whether we choose to communicate with them or not, our guide will always be there, helping to make the decisions that empower us and allow us to compassionately help other people. Star is still my spirit guide today. As with friendships, we can have ups and downs with our spirit guides. In my childhood and teenage years, Star was very close at times, while at others I distanced myself from her; I didnât always want to hear what she was telling me and I didnât always want to be different. As my relationship with Star has grown over the years, Iâve come to accept that she is my constant spiritual companion, guiding and teaching me. When I link with a client, Star is the one who brings through their loved ones in spirit.
I know that Star âpositions meâ to be in the right place at the right time so I can have the experiences that I am destined to have in this lifetime. Star is my inner voice, what weâd also call the voice of our intuition. The more we follow our intuition, the more naturally life flows.
In 2006, I was given an amazing opportunity. I wasnât supposed to be at Selfridges that morning; Iâd bought an item I needed to change but I didnât feel up to trekking into central London that day. I have suffered from rheumatoid arthritis since my early teens, and some days Iâm tired. However, Iâd promised Iâd meet my friend Claire at Selfridges, so off I went. And I sensed that Star wanted me to be there, too.
While chatting in Dollyâs tea room with Claire, I laid out some tarot cards for her. As I was giving her reading I looked up, and was drawn towards a tall, well-dressed man with grey hair walking across the sales floor. â
