Oil of Kazakhstan. The photographic history

The “Oil of Kazakhstan: the photographic history” photo album tells of the entire history of oil in Kazakhstan, starting with the first gush of oil struck at the Karashungul area in 1899 and all the way up to today. This book uses rare photographs from state archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Russia, personal archives of oilmen and the work of modern-day Kazakh photographers. This publication is intended for all sorts of readers.
