One night...
That could change her life forever!
In this Hot Greek Docs story, when an earthquake hits the Greek island of Mythelios, nurse Cailey Tomaras rushes to helpâonly to encounter childhood crush Dr. Theo Nikolaides! As the trauma fades, they find comfort between the sheets... But when Cailey realizes the consequences of that night, she must prove to lone wolf Theo that heâd make the perfect dad.
ANNIE OâNEIL spent most of her childhood with her leg draped over the family rocking chair and a book in her hand. Novels, baking, and writing too much teenage angst poetry ate up most of her youth. Now Annie splits her time between corralling her husband into helping her with their cows, baking, reading, barrel racing (not really!) and spending some very happy hours at her computer, writing.

CHAPTER ONE
THEOâS EYES FOLLOWED the wheeled supplies trolley as it rolled past the exam bed. The moan and creak of concrete against steel shot his senses to high alert.
When his fingers were unable to gain purchase on the delicate needle heâd been reaching for he knew what was happening.
âUp you come!â He pulled the little boy heâd been treating from the exam table to his chest, careful to mind his freshly sutured knee. âYou too.â He beckoned for the boyâs mother to stand in the doorframe, grateful for the modern reinforced framework theyâd insisted on for the clinic.
She stood frozen with fear. Pragmatism demanded he pull her close to him, certain it was the safest place to be. Earthquakes werenât common in the Greek islands, but the archipelago had been subject to more than its fair share over the past few years.
âI know itâs frightening, but you must stay here!â He held the terrified mother, a young woman heâd gone to school with, close to him. âAlida, please.â
He tightened his grip, fighting the urge to cough as the shift and strain of drywall released chalky clouds of gypsum into the air.
âThe clinic is the safest place to be.â
His voice ended up sounding harsher than heâd intended. Harsh for the voice of a schoolfriend and a doctor. But the clinic had never borne the test of an actual earthquake, and as the seconds ground and rasped into minutes he knew the uncompromising deal heâd made with his father had been the right one. Pride for money.
