Chapter #1

Addison Bear was a very curious bear. He lived in a cozy cave at the edge of the forest. Every morning, Addison would wake up with a new question in his mind. Today, he wondered why the sky was blue. He decided to ask his friend, Owl. Owl was very wise and knew many things. Addison trotted off to find Owl. He was excited to learn something new.

Chapter #2

Addison found Owl perched on a branch. “Owl, why is the sky blue?” Addison asked. Owl thought for a moment and said, “The sky is blue because of the way sunlight interacts with the atmosphere.” Addison listened carefully. “The light from the sun is made up of many colors,” Owl continued. “When it passes through the air, the blue light gets scattered in all directions, making the sky look blue.” Addison thanked Owl and felt a little smarter.

Chapter #3

The next day, Addison had another question. He wondered why the river sparkled in the sunlight. He decided to visit his friend, Beaver, who lived by the river. Beaver was busy building a dam. “Beaver, why does the river sparkle?” Addison asked. “The sunlight reflects off the water,” Beaver explained. “The moving water creates little ripples that catch the light.” Addison watched the sparkling river and felt amazed.

Chapter #4

One sunny afternoon, Addison noticed bees buzzing around the flowers. He wondered why bees were so busy. He decided to ask his friend, Bee. Bee was collecting nectar from a flower. “Bee, why are you always so busy?” Addison asked. “We collect nectar to make honey,” Bee replied. “Honey is our food, and we need it to survive.” Addison realized how hard the bees worked and admired them.
