Emily loved to play in her garden. One sunny morning, she found a small rabbit nibbling on a carrot. Emily crouched down and watched quietly. The rabbit had soft fur and big, curious eyes. «Hello, little rabbit,» Emily whispered. The rabbit twitched its nose but didn’t run away. Emily decided to name her new friend Abigail.

Emily wanted to get closer to Abigail. She knew she had to be gentle and move slowly. Emily picked a fresh carrot from the garden. She extended her hand towards Abigail, offering the carrot. Abigail sniffed the air and took a small hop forward. Emily stayed very still, her heart beating fast. Abigail nibbled the carrot from Emily’s hand.

Day by day, Emily and Abigail grew closer. Emily would bring treats and sit quietly by the garden. Abigail started to recognize Emily’s voice. She would hop over whenever Emily called her name. Emily felt happy to have such a special friend. Abigail seemed to trust Emily more each day. Their bond was growing stronger.

One day, Emily found a cozy spot under a big tree. She decided it would be her and Abigail’s special hideout. Emily brought a soft blanket and some snacks. Abigail loved the new hideout and felt safe there. They spent hours playing and resting together. Emily loved telling Abigail stories. Abigail would listen quietly, feeling content.
