Carter found an old bicycle in his garage. It was rusty and had flat tires. He showed it to his best friend, Lucas. Lucas thought they could fix it together. They gathered tools and started working. It was hard, but they didn’t give up. Soon, the bike looked almost new!

Carter wanted to learn how to ride the bicycle. Lucas agreed to help him. They decided to go to the park. The park had wide, open spaces. It was perfect for learning. Carter was excited and a little nervous. Lucas promised to stay by his side.

At the park, Carter climbed onto the bicycle. Lucas held the bike steady. Carter started to pedal. He wobbled and fell down. Lucas ran to help him up. Carter’s knees were grazed, but he smiled. He wanted to try again.

The wind was strong that day. It made riding even harder. Carter tried to pedal straight. The wind pushed him to the side. He fell again, but Lucas encouraged him. “Keep going, Carter!” Lucas said. Carter took a deep breath and tried again.
